The Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1997 consists of several different grape varietals. The red purplish colored wine is a mix of 82 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 13 percent Merlot, 3 percent Cabernet Franc, and 2 percent Petit Verdon. 

When sniffing on the red wine you will find a blackberry, cedar, tobacco, spice, coffee, hyacinth flower, and leather aroma. Your taste buds will enjoy the complex flavor of the fruity, spicy, and smoky taste of Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1997. The alcoholic beverage has a pleasant bitterness and dryness with subtle acidity.

Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1997

The next best-selling fine wine is Chateau Cos D Estournel 2013. The red wine has a 750 ml bottle with 13 percent ABV. This wine is produced in Saint-Estephe, France with a mix of 78 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 percent Merlot, and two percent Cabernet Franc. 

The red wine has a fruity yet spicy scent with a savory and silky taste. You will find the Chateau Cos d’Estournel 2013 to have an intense bitterness and dryness. If you like a bitter, dry, and savory type of wine, you will find this fine wine matching your palate.

Chateau Cos d’Estournel 2013 pairs well with beef, venison, and other red meats. So be sure to try drinking the red wine while eating a delicious steak! To ensure the best experience when sipping on this wine, we recommended storing Chateau Cos d’Estournel 2013 at 12 to 15 degrees Celsius temperature with 80 percent humidity.

You have to pour the wine inside a decanter and wait for at least two hours before consuming it to enjoy the aroma and flavor fully. Serve the wine at 17 to 18 degrees Celsius temperature so you can feel the scent and flavor spreading inside your mouth slowly.

3. Chateau Kirwan 3rd Growth 94WE 2010

The third best-selling fine wine also comes from France, specifically the Margaux area. The winery was first bought by an Englishman named Sir John Collingwood.

At that time, the alcoholic beverage hadn’t been named ‘Chateau Kirwan’ yet. It was Mark Kirwan, his Irish son-in-law who called the winery after his name. Now, the estate is managed by the Schyler family who originated from Germany. 

One of their product is Chateau Kirwan 3rd Growth 94WE 2010 that has a 750 ml bottle and 13.5 percent ABV. The red wine consists of 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 35 percent Merlot, 9 percent Cabernet Franc, and 6 percent Petit Verdot. 

The dark purple-colored wine has blackberry, cinnamon, and licorice flavor with hints of cedar, chocolate, yeast, and tobacco taste. You will find it to have a balanced acidity with a pleasant bitterness and dryness. The red wine pairs greatly with braised, grilled, or roasted meats, Asian cuisines, mushrooms, tuna, cheese, and pasta.

Be sure to pour the alcoholic beverage inside a decanter for at least one to three hours before drinking. You can serve the red wine at 15.5 degrees Celcius temperature to enjoy the freshness of Chateau Kirwan 3rd Growth 94WE 2010.

4. Chateau Dassault 2008

Another France red wine that goes on the ‘best-selling fine wine’ list is Chateau Dassault 2088. This alcoholic beverage is produced in Saint-Emilion, France with a 750 ml bottle and 13.5 percent ABV. The grapes used in this blend are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. 

It will hit your nose with a refreshing, fruity, leather, vanilla, and spices scent. The purplish-red wine has a fruity and spicy flavor with decent bitterness and dryness. This alcoholic beverage is recommended to be enjoyed with cured cheese, poultry, braised beef, red meats, scallop, and appetizers. You should drink the red wine at 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Chateau Dassault 2008

5. Yering Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The first best-selling fine wine position is taken by Yering Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2017! Unlike the other red wine, this alcoholic beverage is made in Victoria, Australia. It has a 750 ml bottle with 14 percent ABV. The main ingredient of the wine is 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are fermented in open fermenters and aged for 18 months in French oak.

The dark red wine has a rhubarb and blackcurrant aroma. While sipping on Yering Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, you will taste a berry, mint, cinnamon, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, and French cedar oak flavor with a pleasant bitterness, acidity, and dryness. The red wine pairs perfectly with beef and venison.
