Gandaria City is a 7-storey mall located in the Kebayoran Lama Utara area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, which is operated by Pakuwon Jati. This mall is located on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda and officially operates since 15 August 2010.

Napa Bistro values a free style of cuisine, part of a gastronomy cultures from around the world, adapted to an avant-garde context. Chef @oskarurzelai has created western dishes with an Asian touch losing neither flavour or texture.

Recipes and sauces are the foundation of our work. Refined, evolved and adapted for the general public seeking a savoury, healthy, and informal gastronomic experience.

CHEF OSKAR URZELAI

Originally from Spain, he was born in Deba, Basque Country.

As a child, Oskar learnt to cook traditional Basque cuisine from his mother Maria Antonia and worked his way to the famous kitchens of world renowned Michelin Star restaurants. L’Operne (1 Star), Martin Berasategui (3 Stars), Cabo Mayor (1 Star) and the incredible Zalacain (3 Stars),

Oskar Urzelai’s professional approach consists of three specific values – excellent ingredients, skilled techniques and, above all, hard work.

These factors together with a clear Basque influence result in a style of cooking that is sincere with a perfect balance of character.

Oskar openly acknowledges that he likes cooking to be straightforward, with minimum distractions.

Flavours should stand out, and those flavours should be natural.

After experience in countries with culinary traditions as diverse as Spain, Cuba, Thailand and Cambodia, Chef Oskar Urzelai brings his passion for cooking to Indonesia with a fusion of flavours and techniques in constantly evolving menus.

He continues to develop his own personal style and in 2020 eventually opened Txoko Restaurant in Jakarta’s Senopati area.

Despite it’s challenges, Oskar continued to excel in 2021 with the opening of NAPA, an informal Bistro at Gandaria City Mall.
